Tallahassee
Tallahassee is the capital of the state of Florida. It is also the home of Florida State University, and Florida A & M University, making it a booming city full of culture and business. The word Tallahassee comes from the Indian term "old fields" and most likely was dubbed as such from the Seminole tribe. In the early 1900s the city was mostly occupied by those participating in local government and their families, but after World War II the population of Tallahassee grew considerably.
