Panama City

In the 1830s, land owners from Georgia and Alabama had started to visit the beach areas of Florida during the summer months. In 1909, a popular area was officially called Panama City. In the 1920s the land boom of Florida began, and more people began to settle in the area. Over time the city's population grew and now Panama City is a bustling part of the state of Florida. The city has over 27 miles of gorgeous beaches, and its motto is "Live. Work. Play." While visiting Panama City, there are tons of wonderful and exciting things to do.
